
What does it mean to accept?
How do we accept losses?
Or even gains for that matter.
Well, I would say we can start by confirming what it is we may have experienced.
Like so
I was abused
I was hurt
That experience did not make me feel so good
Or
That made me feel amazing
That experience gave me knowledge.
Confirmation within allows your subconscious to fully identify with the experience. You are giving your internal self space to acknowledge the endeavors. Once you have given yourself that confirmation. You will admittedly still feel that doubt or hurt. That is okay.
Now you know that by just communicating with yourself, you are accepting what was experienced. You are no longer dismissing the damage done. If we can joyfully experience our upbringings with acknowledgment. Then we can just acknowledge our bumpy roads with the light we hold.
