Founder's Letter

Dear Neighbors, Farmers, Vendors, Artists, and Future Partners,

The vision behind ForwardForecast44 began long before the business officially formed. While ForwardForecast44 LLC is now legally operating, many of these ideas have existed within me for years through writing, art, research, observations, and ongoing questions surrounding accessibility, community wellness, local circulation, creativity, and the systems shaping everyday neighborhood life.

As a child from the system and the second oldest sibling, I helped raise my younger siblings while moving through different environments ranging from suburban and more rural spaces to communities directly impacted by instability, disconnection, and limited accessibility. Much of my earlier awareness came through observation, distance, stories, and eventually lived experiences that made me question why so many communities continue existing in survival mode while healthier accessibility, local investment, and long-term circulation remain inconsistent or disconnected from daily neighborhood life.

Many people are taught that success only means leaving struggling communities behind. Over time, I began questioning what happens to the people, businesses, families, creativity, and environments left behind when circulation continuously exits but rarely returns in sustainable ways.

I often speak about roots because roots determine what grows, survives, circulates, and remains connected. ForwardForecast44 was never meant to exist as only one idea. The Community Store became one branch of a much larger vision centered around stronger community accessibility systems, local circulation, creativity, wellness, innovation, visibility, and long-term connection between people and the environments surrounding them.

The Community Store itself is not meant to become just another corner store or temporary market setup. The goal is creating stronger systems connecting local growers, herbal vendors, artists, organizations, and neighbors together while increasing access to healthier options, visibility, creativity, local circulation, and community interaction within the neighborhoods themselves.

While produce accessibility is one important part of the vision, the project itself extends further into broader ideas surrounding community infrastructure, educational outreach, preservation, creativity, research, future innovation systems, and environments designed to grow with the community rather than simply operate within it temporarily.

Through ForwardForecast44, future developments, community outreach, research, art, and future innovation systems, I hope to contribute toward environments where healthier accessibility, local circulation, creativity, wellness, and community connection can continue growing together over time.

Thank you for taking the time to grow with us during the beginning stages of this vision. Strong roots take time, but long-term change always starts somewhere.

Warmly,
Gabbrielle Jacqueline F
